COVID-19 Update

 Despite the stage 4 shutdowns in Melbourne,  Synth Cable Supply Co is still open and shipping orders Monday to Friday as usual. This is because Synth Cable Supply Co is able to operate from home. We will continue to monitor the situation and take advice from the federal and Victorian government. Rest assured, we are taking every precaution to ensure we are a COVID safe business.

Yes. Despite the stage 4 shutdowns in Melbourne, we remain open as I am able to work and fulfil your orders from home. Synth Cable Supply Co doesn't operate out of a warehouse or a retail store, which is subject to restrictions/closures. You can place your orders as usual and expect our normal prompt responses to your questions.

Yes. We are getting our items into the post as fast (even faster) than ever. But, we use Australia Post to ship our orders. Due to a huge increase in volumes and an impact on their network due to a lack of passenger planes, Australia post is experiencing longer than usual time frames. However, things aren't quite as bad as they were in the first few months. Please see the Australia Post website for more info. Paying that little bit extra for Express Post is definately worth it right now.

 We have seen a big spike in delivery times on our items sent overseas. We've also had to remove the 'economy' options for shipping as these are temporarily suspended. But, things are improving on where they were in the first few months, particularly to NZ and our friends in Asia Pacific. Please see the AusPost website for more detail and current delivery times to your country.

No. Due to the Stage 4 restrictions in Melbourne. All pickup or contactless options are unavailable.

Yes, absolutely. We are taking lots of measures to ensure we, and your parcels, are COVID-19 safe. This ranges from the way we pack your orders, through to the contactless drop off with AusPost. Further, the WHO and Australian Government has advised that the risk of infection through the postal service is extremely low. More info on the AusPost website

We source our cables direct from reputable audio cable factories in China. We've  sampled and carefully tested products from many factories and settled on what we believe are the best quality cables of each type we can have manufactured. These are the same manufacturers making products for the big brands and retailers in the US, the UK and Europe. We work collaboratively with our suppliers and work hard to keep our margins down so you can get the same high-quality cables, for significantly less.

At this stage, it's just Eurorack. But, if there are enough synth heads in Australia and N.Z. that need a reliable source of other cables, then we can do our best to help out. Get in contact if you have any special requests or suggestions.

Shipping

Please check the shipping confirmation email you received when your order shipped to track your parcel. If you can't find your tracking number, or you're having trouble with the delivery, please get in touch via email or the contact us form.

We ship to Australia, New Zealand, and wider Oceania and Asia. The aim of Synth Cable Supply Co is to make it easier to get modular synth cables and accessories for those of us down here. If you're interested in our products and your country isn't listed, then please get in touch via our contact us form and we'll try to sort something out for you.

Your parcel  will be sent the very next business day after you place your order. Once it's in the post, the length will depend on your location and the method of shipping available to you at checkout. Find out more about Australia Post delivery speeds and coverage.

Yes. However, you must contact us first for this option. Ben can meet you near Melbourne Central Station during office hours Monday to Friday. This needs to work around 'day jobs'. Between 12 and 1pm works best generally. There will need to be enough notice to pack your cables and accessories in the morning.

At this stage, Australia Post is the only option for domestic and most international shipping. The ease and speed of getting parcels out the door every morning via the Australia Post system ensures we can meet your delivery expectations makes Australia Post the best option. If you'd prefer a courier, please get in touch and we'll work something out.

Returns and Replacements

We offer 30 day returns. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Read the full return policy for more info.

Unfortunately we don't offer free returns at this stage. We do accept returns per above, but you will have to cover the cost of shipping yourself.

You will have to handle the shipping arrangements on your end. You'll be notified once the cables arrive and then a refund will be arranged.

Well that sucks :( 

Each cable is hand-tested before it ships to make sure you can count on it. If you have received a dodgy cable, please get in touch. You'll be sent a replacement once we've diagnosed the problem together.
